This 2024 Bond of the 1970s 1oz gold coin is the second in the bullion coin series from The Royal Mint celebrating the world’s favourite spy – the Six Decades of 007 range.

Created by Ian Fleming in the 1953, James Bond became a British icon when he appeared on the big screen in 1962. Since then the MI6 agent has only grown in popularity, as new actors made the character their own.

This second coin in the series celebrates the bond movies of the 1970s when Roger Moore brought a new level of charm and sophistication to the British spy in classic movies like ‘Live and Let Die‘ and ‘The Man with the Golden Gun’. The coin features features the legendary ‘Wet Nellie’ Lotus Esprit S1 from The Spy Who Loved Me.

Each 2024 Bond of the 1970s 1oz gold coin contains one troy ounce of 999.9 fine gold and is struck to The Royal Mint’s bullion standard. The gold bullion coin has a limited mintage of just 5,000 coins.
