Pride of Australia
The Pride of Australia nugget was unearthed in 1981 at Wedderburn in Victoria, Australia. It weighed just over 7 kilograms and was bought by the State Bank of Victoria. The bank donated it to the state of Victoria to mark the 150th anniversary of the State’s creation. It was later stolen in 1991 to never be seen again.
