A beautiful 2024 quarter ounce Australian Kangaroo gold coin. Featuring Australia’s national animal the Kangaroo, but with the design changing each year.
The 2024 1/4oz gold Kangaroo, also know as the ‘Nugget’, is the official national bullion coin of Australia with a face value of 25 Australian Dollars. The coin itself is produced by Perth Mint, who are well known for producing some of the best looking coins in the world.
This year’s coin features a large kangaroo about to jump over a dry creek with the classic outback icon of a windmill and water tank in the background. The coin also features a special laser-engraved ‘P125’ mintmark signifying the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary. The obverse features King Charles III for the first time.
