2 x Double sovereigns to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Brunel. It features the roof of Paddington station – a Brunel design. The edge has the inscription “SO MANY IRONS IN THE FIRE”. The second coin has a portrait of Brunel in his top hat with a chain round the rim. This twin double sovereign set is presented in a handsome box with certificates. The Two Pound Gold Coin – sometimes referred to as the Double Sovereign – contains 14.63 grams of gold (twice the weight of a Sovereign).
