Description
2009 Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagle Coin MS70 (Varied Label, PCGS or NGC)
The most beautiful American coin design of the 20th century is widely considered to be the $20 Double Eagle Gold Coin. Introduced in 1907 and stuck through 1933, the coin imagery was created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and intended to be struck in high relief. The US Mint was not capable of consistent high-relief striking in 1907, but in the 21st century it is. In 2009, the US Mint reissued a commemorative version of the coin with beautiful ultra-high-relief visuals. Right now, 2009 1 oz Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coins are available to purchase online in perfect condition.

Rays of sunshine frame Liberty’s figure from behind and 50 stars encircle the design element.
