$250 gold proof coin struck by the Royal Mint for the Pitcairn Islands – celebrating 200 years of settlement of the Islands. The coin is the same dimensions and weight as the British £2 double Sovereign. The coin is presented boxed with a certificate.

This Pre–Owned 1990 Pitcairn Islands First Settlement $250 Gold Proof Coin was struck to commemorate the Bicentenary of the first settlement in 1790. The reverse of the coin shows the ship the HM Bounty run aground and set alight on the rocks of Pitcairn islands. The obverse of the crown is a portrait of The Queen by Raphael Maklouf.
