Following the 2009 issue of an ultra-high-relief gold coin, the United States Mint continued to issue brilliant gold coins with high–relief strikes. The next coin to come was the 2015 American Liberty High Relief. This coin will be remembered throughout history as the first US gold coin with a face value of $100 (USD).
