The American Liberty coins here are high-relief specimens with an enhanced uncirculated finish. High-relief coins are struck multiple times under intense pressure in the coining press to create the best possible 3D appearances for the design elements. The enhanced uncirculated finish on these coins results in a matte appearance when compared against typical bullion gold coins.

All 2019-W 1 oz American Liberty High Relief Gold Coins are available to you inside of a hardwood box with a black lacquer finish. The coin itself is individually housed inside of a protective capsule and set in the box. Each one comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the United States Mint.

The obverse of 2019 American Liberty High Relief Gold Coins bears a new vision of Liberty. In this left-profile portrait, Liberty offers soft features and free-flowing hair. As she gazes to the left, 13 rays of sunshine form a crown of sorts on her head. Within the outer edges of the sun rays is the word “Liberty.” There are also 13 stars to the left edge of the coin and the national motto “In God We Trust” along the bottom. The coin’s date mark and the “W” mint mark of the West Point feature on this side.

On the reverse of 2019-W 1 oz American Liberty High Relief Gold Coins is the image of an American bald eagle coming in to land on its perch. The bird’s feathers are captured in intricate detail as its wings arch back and its claws come out to catch its landing. Just below the bird’s chest is the face value of the coin with the phrase “E Pluribus Unum.” The weight, purity, and metal content of the coin are inscribed along with “United States of America.”
