The 2022 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Proof gold £5 coin is one of several coins issued by The Royal Mint to honour the life and service of the late queen.
As with all coins in the range, the obverse (front) of the coin features Martin Jenning‘s portrait of King Charles III for the first time, making it a historic release. The reverse features a beautiful dual image design of Queen Elizabeth II by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.
This Proof five pound coin (Crown) is struck in 22 carat gold (916.7) and weighs a total of 39.94g. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
