The sculptor’s initials, ‘M.J.’, are visible at the bottom of the head.
The inscription on the coin reads ‘CHARLES III.D.G.REX.F.D’.
The reverse of the 2025 1oz Gold Britannia features the classic figure of Lady Britannia, designed by Philip Nathan, with the text ‘NATHAN’ at the bottom of the coin.
